A very delightful piece to add to your Steiff or toy collection!
Offering a STEIFF INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT TEDDY BEAR from 1985. The collectible bear, made in Giengen, Germany is individually numbered 1930 on its passport. The sweet little bear has genuine mohair pile blonde fur tipped with light brown. He has brown glass eyes, an embroidered nose and mouth and felt paws.
The front side of his yellow ear button tag is labeled Steiff Knopf IM OHR 0245/40 and on the reverse, All new material; PA55/MA5573; Covering: 60% wool 40% cotton; Made in Western Germany.
PASSPORT TEDDY BEAR carries his personal passport in a royal blue pouch around his neck. The passport is numbered with 1930 and inside, list his name, year of birth, place of birth, country, distinguishing marks (of course, the button in the ear!), countries valid, and a very cute passport picture of Teddy. The passport was validated on March 29, 1987 as date of entry.Fully jointed--arms, legs and neck all move and measures approximately 14" tall. He has a squeaker in his belly that works when pushed.
